LOGO AND LETTERING DECALS. 9-2-1 Two (2) VFES door decals shall be required and installed on the drivers and officers doors. The general design of the decal is illustrated in 9-2-1-a. The design may have modifications made to prior to completion of the apparatus. The colors, size, general design, and location will be determined at pre-construction meeting and at final inspection. Example 9-2-1-a 9-2-2 Two (2) eight-inch lettering set(s) of the wording VAIL FIRE shall be required and installed. See example 9-2-2-a for reference. Letters shall be simulated Gold Leaf materials, that have an outline and/or shade. Letters shall be located on the top hatch compartments between the M9 emergency lights. Example 9-2-2-a 9-2-3 Two (2) four-inch lettering set(s) of the wording ENGINE CO. shall be required and installed. See example 9-2-3-a for reference. Letters shall be simulated Gold Leaf materials, that have an outline and/or shade. Letters shall be installed on the rear cab doors. Example 9-2-3-a 9-2-4 Six (6) seven-inch number “1” shall be required and installed. See example 9-2-4- a for reference. Numbers shall be simulated Gold Leaf materials, that have an outline and/or shade. The numbers will be installed on number plates listed in 9-2-5. Example 9-2-4-a 9-2-5 Four (4) 8 inch x 8 inch sign slide in plate holders shall be required and installed. See example 9-2-4-a for reference. Sign slide in plates shall be painted same color as apparatus.
