LONGEVITY - LATERAL TRANSFERS. Police Officers who laterally transfer from another law enforcement agency shall be able to apply up to five years of previous law enforcement experience towards years of service relative to qualifying for longevity increases to base salary once the member has passed probation.

Existing Sworn Officers shall also receive this benefit beginning July 1, 2006.
