Common use of Longevity Clause in Contracts

Longevity. Each member of the unit who has completed ten (10) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall re- ceive twenty cents ($.20 in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each member of the unit who has completed fourteen (14) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five cents ($.55) in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each member of the unit who has completed fourteen (14) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five sixty -five cents ($.55.65) in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Beginning on July 1, 1996, each member of the unit who has completed ten fifteen (1015) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall re- ceive twenty cents (receive $.20 .45 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each member of the unit who has completed fourteen (14) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five cents ($.55) in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 1996, each member of the unit who has completed nineteen (19) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive seventy-five cents ($.75) .50 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 1996, each member of the unit who has completed twenty-fournine (29) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive $.60 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment.

Each Beginning on July 1, 2019, each member of the unit who has completed twenty-fourfour (24) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive $.90 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment.
