Loss of Limbs. I) The physical separation of two or more limbs, at or above the wrist or ankle level limbs as a result of injury or disease. This will include medically necessary amputation necessitated by injury or disease. The directly or indirectly from self-inflicted injury, alcohol or drug abuse is excluded.
