Loss, Theft or Unauthorized Transactions. You must tell Aspiration AT ONCE if you believe your Debit Card has been lost or stolen or if you believe an unauthorized person may know your PIN. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the funds in your Account (plus your maximum overdraft line of credit). If you tell Aspiration within two (2) Business Days after you learn of the loss or theft of a Card or PIN, you can lose no more than fifty dollars ($50.00) if someone used your Debit Card or PIN without your permission. TO PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT AND LIMIT YOUR LIABILITY, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU: ● DO NOT PROVIDE ANYONE WITH YOUR PIN; ● DO NOT WRITE YOUR PIN ON THE DEBIT CARD; ● DO NOT CARRY YOUR PIN IN YOUR WALLET WITH THE DEBIT CARD; AND ● DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR PIN, EVEN SOMEONE FROM BANK OR ASPIRATION.

  • Unauthorized Transactions You are not responsible for unauthorized Transactions. A Transaction is considered an “unauthorized Transaction” if we complete an investigation and determine that: • The Account was used by someone other than you; • You did not receive any benefit from the Transaction; • You co-operated fully with us in our investigation; and • You followed your responsibilities under this Agreement, including in these sections:

  • Liability for Unauthorized Transactions Protection from Unauthorized Transactions To protect yourself from unauthorized activity in your PayPal account, you should regularly log into your PayPal account and review your PayPal account statement. PayPal will notify you of each transaction by sending an email to your primary email address on file. You should review these transaction notifications to ensure that each transaction was authorized and accurately completed. PayPal will protect you from unauthorized activity in your PayPal account. When this protection applies, PayPal will cover you for the full amount of the unauthorized activity as long as you cooperate with us and follow the procedures described below. What is an Unauthorized Transaction An "Unauthorized Transaction" occurs when a payment is sent from your PayPal account that you did not authorize and that did not benefit you. For example, if someone steals your password, uses the password to access your PayPal account, and sends a payment from your PayPal account, an Unauthorized Transaction has occurred. What is not considered an Unauthorized Transaction The following are NOT considered Unauthorized Transactions: • If you give someone access to your PayPal account (by giving them your login information) and they use your PayPal account without your knowledge or permission. You are responsible for transactions made in this situation. • Invalidation and reversal of a payment as a result of the actions described under Refunds, Reversals and Chargebacks. Reporting an Unauthorized Transaction You should contact PayPal customer service immediately if you believe: • there has been an Unauthorized Transaction sent from your account; • there has been unauthorized access to your account; • your PayPal login information has been lost or stolen; or • any device you have used to access your PayPal account has been lost, stolen or deactivated. You must give us all the available information relating to circumstances of any Unauthorized Transactions, and/or misappropriated or unauthorized use of your account, and take all reasonable steps requested to assist PayPal in its investigation. If you notify us of an Unauthorized Transaction within sixty (60) days of the transaction and we are satisfied that it was an Unauthorized Transaction, you will be eligible for 100% protection for the Unauthorized Transaction. Error Resolution What is an Error

  • Your Liability for Unauthorized Transactions You agree to exercise reasonable control over your PIN(s); user ID(s); and password(s) and any other access code related to your Debit Card (each, an “Access Code"). If you believe the Debit Card or Access Code has been lost, compromised or stolen, immediately contact us at 000-000-0000 or email us at xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx. Telephoning is the best way to minimize your possible losses. If you believe the Debit Card has been lost or stolen call 000-000-0000 or email at xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx. We may suspend or cancel your Debit Card in the event of excessive reports of Debit Card loss or theft. Under Mastercard Rules, particularly Zero Liability, you will not be held responsible for unauthorized transactions if you have used reasonable care in protecting your Debit Card from loss or theft and you have promptly reported to us when you knew that your Debit Card was lost or stolen. Zero Liability does not apply to Mastercard payment cards that are used for commercial purposes or anonymous prepaid cards. In the event that Mastercard Zero Liability does not apply, if you notify us within two (2) business days after you learn of any unauthorized transactions, you can lose no more than $50.00 if someone used your Debit Card without your permission. If you do not notify us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Debit Card and we can prove that we could have stopped someone from using your Debit Card without your permission if you had promptly notified us, you could lose as much as $500.00. Also, if your statement shows transactions that you did not make, including those made by card, code or other means, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within 60 days after the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods. Also, if you become aware of and/or your statement shows transactions you did not make, notify us at once following the procedures stated in Section XVIII (Your Right to Dispute Errors). If you do not notify us within sixty (60) days after you become aware of the transaction and/or after the statement was made available to you, you may not get back any value you lost after the sixty (60) days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the value if you had notified us in time. You will not be liable for unauthorized use that occurs after you notify us of the loss, theft or unauthorized use of your Debit Card or Access Code(s). You also agree to cooperate completely with us and the Bank in attempts to recover funds from unauthorized users and to assist in their prosecution. The Bank may issue replacement Debit Card(s) or Access Code(s), but only after you have provided such proof and security or indemnification as the Bank may require. In addition, you acknowledge that the Bank may have to deactivate your Debit Card(s) to prevent future losses. If you share your Debit Card(s) or Access Code(s) with another person, use of your Debit Card by that person may be considered as authorized. If you authorize another person to use your Debit Card or Access Code(s), you agree that you will be liable for all transactions arising from use of the Debit Card or Access Code(s) by such person except as otherwise set forth in this Agreement. In all cases, our liability for an unauthorized transaction is limited to reimbursing you for the face amount of the unauthorized transaction and any corresponding fees, except as otherwise required by applicable law. A transaction is unauthorized if it is not initiated by you, you did not give permission to make the transaction or you do not benefit from the transaction in any way.

  • Your Liability for Unauthorized Transfers Immediately following your discovery of an unauthorized Payment Instruction, you shall communicate with customer care for the Service in the manner set forth in Section 6 of the General Terms above. You acknowledge and agree that time is of the essence in such situations. If you tell us within two (2) Business Days after you discover your password or other means to access your account through which you access the Service has been lost or stolen, your liability is no more than $50.00 should someone access your account without your permission. If you do not tell us within two (2) Business Days after you learn of such loss or theft, and we can prove that we could have prevented the unauthorized use of your password or other means to access your account if you had told us, you could be liable for as much as $500.00. If your monthly financial institution statement contains payments that you did not authorize, you must tell us at once. If you do not tell us within sixty (60) days after the statement was sent to you, you may lose any amount transferred without your authorization after the sixty (60) days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money had you told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) prevented you from telling us, we will extend the time periods specified above to a reasonable period.

  • Unauthorised Transactions As between you and Stripe, you are responsible for Card Transactions, and fees and penalties Stripe incurs resulting from any Card Authorised User’s failure to (a) exercise reasonable care in safeguarding Cards from loss or theft; or (b) promptly report loss or theft, including fraud. Additionally, to the extent Law permits, if you or a Card Authorised User allows another party to use the Card or Card Account Data for any purpose or if an unauthorised person uses a Card or Card Account Data, you will be liable for that use, including all losses, damages and costs arising out of or relating to that use. To the extent Law permits, Stripe is not liable for any losses, damages or costs to you or your Card Authorised Users arising out of or relating to (y) unauthorised access to or use of a Card or your Stripe Issuing Account; or (z) your failure to use or implement anti-fraud measures, security controls or any other data security measures.

  • Unauthorized Changes The terms of Section 1 of Article VI apply to the resolution of any unauthorized changes regarding Number Portability.

  • PROCEDURES FOR ADDRESSING UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS AND OTHER TRANSACTION PROBLEMS In the event of a problem with a Debit Card transaction, or unauthorized Debit Card transaction, other than a matter related to goods or services provided by Merchants, I will report the issue promptly to my Credit Union and the Credit Union will investigate and respond to the issue on a timely basis. My Credit Union will not unreasonably restrict me from the use of any funds subject to dispute, if it is reasonably evident that I did not contribute to the problem or unauthorized transaction. My Credit Union will respond to my report of a problem or unauthorized transaction within 10 business days and will indicate what reimbursement, if any, will be made for any loss incurred by me. Reimbursement will be made for losses from a problem or unauthorized use in this time frame if it is evident that I did not contribute knowingly to the problem or unauthorized transaction and that I took reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of my PIN or Passcode. An extension of the 10-day limit may be necessary if my Credit Union requires me to provide a written statement or affidavit to aid its investigation.
