Low Census Assignment. Surgical technologists who would have been cancelled or placed on standby may be floated to the main operating room for orientation or, if already oriented, to fulfill a documented staffing need in that department. When floated to the main operating room while remaining available to the CVOR, the surgical technologist will be released to return to the CVOR within thirty (30) minutes of being notified that their services are needed there. LETTER OF AGREEMENT: ENDOSCOPY XxXxxxxx-Willamette Medical Center (Hospital) and SEIU Local 49 (Union) agree to the following terms and conditions to ensure consistency and fairness with daily staffing in the Endoscopy Unit and to provide clear directions regarding staffing before and during shift. Endoscopy technicians will not be required to maintain a percentage for staffing purposes. If Endoscopy does not require both technicians (i.e., there are no cases scheduled): There will be an equitable rotation of workers released to the house or sent home, beginning with the person with the least seniority and continuing in inverse seniority order. An endoscopy technician released to the house or sent home will then be moved to the bottom of the rotation and the next least senior technician will be at the top of the list. An Endoscopy Technician will be released to the house or cancelled if the hospital does not need an Endoscopy Technician to perform C.N.A. duties. Holidays: An Endoscopy technician will be on call for all recognized holidays. Rotation of those holidays will be based on the previous year’s holiday schedule. If an employee works on Christmas and has Thanksgiving off during one year, then they will work Thanksgiving and have Christmas off the next year. LETTER OF AGREEMENT: DUAL MODALITY Dual Modality in Diagnostic Imaging- Dual Modality is defined as a Tech that is both qualified and utilized to do more than one modality. Because the hospital benefits by not being required to staff more than one employee to do multiple modalities the hospital agrees to pay dual modality. Dual modality pay of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) additional per hour will be paid when the following conditions are met:

Beginning of shift cancellation/staffing adjustment: If Endoscopy does not require both technicians (i.e., there are no cases scheduled): § Senior tech takes a SB for ENDO and junior tech is released to house. § If House (hospital) does not need junior tech as CNA, they are cancelled. During the shift staffing adjustment: If workload distribution calls for only one Endo technician (as determined by Charge Nurse), the senior Endo tech will complete the duties and the junior tech will be released to House or be sent home. This applies even if senior tech will only get one additional hour and junior gets remainder of shift. Holidays:

  • SUBCONTRACTS - ASSIGNMENT Contractor shall not subcontract or assign this Agreement, or any part thereof, or interest therein, directly or indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, to any person without obtaining the prior written consent by County. Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts. Any subcontracting will be subject to all applicable provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall be held responsible by County for the performance of any subcontractor whether approved by County or not. Contractor hereby assigns to the County all rights, title, and interest in and to all causes of action it may have under Section 4 of the Xxxxxxx Act (15 U.S.C. Sec. 15) or under the Xxxxxxxxxx Act (Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 16700) of Part 2 of Division 7 of the Business and Professions Code), arising from the purchase if goods, materials, or services by the Contractor for sale to the County pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Work Assignment 1. It is understood that the assignment of work to purchased services does not convey a right to such work in the future, nor does it create any precedent with respect to future assignment of such work to purchased service employees by the employer.

  • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Non-Assignment This Agreement shall not be assigned by either party without the written consent of the other party.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.
