Separate Unit Clause Samples
The Separate Unit clause establishes that a particular portion of a property, asset, or contractual subject matter is to be treated as an independent entity for legal or operational purposes. In practice, this means that the designated unit—such as a floor in a building, a leased office suite, or a specific production line—can be managed, leased, or sold separately from the rest of the property or asset. This clause is essential for enabling flexibility in transactions, allowing parties to allocate rights, responsibilities, or ownership over distinct parts of a larger whole, and thereby facilitating clearer management and transfer of interests.
Separate Unit. The CVOR shall be considered a separate unit from the main operating room and will maintain separate work schedules and standby schedules and seniority pools.
