Lower Rated Job Sample Clauses

The "Lower Rated Job" clause defines the conditions under which an employee may be assigned to a position with a lower pay grade or classification than their current role. Typically, this clause outlines whether the employee's pay will be adjusted downward, remain the same, or be subject to a specific formula during the period they occupy the lower-rated job. For example, it may apply if an employee is temporarily reassigned due to operational needs or as part of a restructuring process. The core function of this clause is to provide clear guidelines for compensation and job status when such reassignments occur, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring both employer and employee understand the implications of a move to a lower-rated position.
