Wage Rate definition

Wage Rate refers to an Employee’s hourly rate of pay reflected by the pay grade of their position and their step within that grade, as set out in the Wage Rate grid in Appendix II.

Wage Rate means the hourly wage paid to an employee inclusive of shift premiums and commissions. In the case of salaried employees, the hourly wage rate shall be determined by dividing the annual salary, inclusive of shift premiums and commissions, by 1,680 hours. The computation of the regular average hourly wage rate shall be on the same basis whether based on an hourly or other pay scale but predicated on the number of hours in such respective work weeks, whether paid by Landlord or any independent contractor.
