MAIN PUBLIC ENTRANCE. 7. The Hotel shall ensure that its main public entrance is accessible to, and usable by, persons with disabilities, including persons using wheelchairs for mobility. For purposes of this Agreement, the Hotel shall be considered in compliance with this Paragraph if it maintains its main public entrance in the condition as it existed at the time of the Government's inspection on January 24, 2006. The Hotel shall notify the United States, through undersigned counsel, in writing, if it makes any alteration of the main public entrance during the term of this Agreement.

MAIN PUBLIC ENTRANCE. 8. At present, it is not technically feasible for the Hotel to ensure that its main public entrance is accessible. Upon any alteration to either the main public entrance or to any area within the Hotel that uses the front entrance as a path of travel to that altered area, the Hotel shall bring its main public entrance into compliance with Sections 206.4, 206.5, and 402.2 of the 2010 Standards within 6 months of any such alteration. Until such time, the Hotel shall use two portable ramps to enable people with mobility impairments to enter the Hotel, a sidewalk ramp to provide access from the sidewalk into the vestibule, and a vestibule ramp to provide access from the vestibule into the lobby. The two ramps shall be stored in the front lobby of the Hotel when not required by a person with a disability to enter the Hotel.
MAIN PUBLIC ENTRANCE. The Hotel shall ensure that its main public entrance is accessible to, and usable by, persons with disabilities, including persons using wheelchairs for mobility. For purposes of this Agreement, the Hotel shall bring its main public entrance into compliance with the Standards within 6 months after the effective date of the Agreement by 1) providing signage at the main entrance directing individuals with disabilities to the adjacent entrance to the lobby level lounge; 2) maintaining a 36 inch wide clear path of travel from the lobby-level lounge entrance to the mechanical lift located at the rear of the lounge; and 3) maintaining the mechanical lift in working condition. The Hotel shall notify the United States, through undersigned counsel, in writing, if it makes any alteration of the main public entrance during the term of this Agreement.
MAIN PUBLIC ENTRANCE. The Restaurant shall ensure that its alternate entrance at 000 Xxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx, Xxx Xxxx is accessible to, and usable by, persons with disabilities, including persons using wheelchairs for mobility. For purposes of this paragraph, the Restaurant may meet its obligations to provide an accessible entrance by maintaining the side ramp leading from the parking lot to the main entrance in the same condition as existed in the course of the Government's inspection on December 20, 2012. The Restaurant shall post signage using the International Symbol of Accessibility at the accessible alternate entrance and directional signage indicating the location of the accessible alternate entrance at the main public entrance. See 2010 Standards §§ 206.2.1, 216.6, 703.5 and 703.7.2.1. The Restaurant shall notify the United States, through undersigned counsel, in writing if it makes any alteration of the accessible alternate entrance during the term of this Agreement.

  • ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING This Contract incorporates by reference Article 9 of the Arlington County Purchasing Resolution, as well as all state and federal laws related to ethics, conflicts of interest or bribery, including the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act (Code of Virginia § 2.2-3100 et seq.), the Virginia Governmental Frauds Act (Code of Virginia § 18.2-498.1 et seq.) and Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 10 of Title 18.2 of the Code of Virginia, as amended (§ 18.2-438 et seq.).   • Not a Public Dedication Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to be a gift or dedication of any portion of the Parcels to the general public or for the general public or for any public purpose whatsoever, it being the intention of the Owners hereto that this Declaration shall be strictly limited to and for the purposes herein expressed.

  • Public Works Installation work which is considered public works is excluded from purchase under this Contract. Historically, the New York State Bureau of Public Works has maintained that installation, maintenance and repair of equipment attached to any wall, ceiling or floor or affixed by hard wiring or plumbing is public work. In contrast, installation of a piece of equipment which is portable or a “plug-in” free-standing unit would not be considered public work. Thus, this Contract does not authorize installation where the equipment becomes a permanent part of the building structure, or is otherwise incorporated into the fabric of the building (e.g., installation on a wall, ceiling or floor in a fixed location, or affixed by hard-wiring or plumbing).   • Public Use Concessionaire’s operation and this Agreement shall not be construed so as to affect the privileges accorded to the public’s use of the Area, or to restrain or prevent individual persons or groups of persons from bringing their own food and beverages into the Area.

  • POST PUBLIC AUCTION 5.1. Any E-Bidders who successfully bids for the Property shall and undertake to sign the Memorandum of Sale and pay the difference between 10% of the purchase price and the deposit paid under clause 3.5 above (“differential sum”) at the office of the Auctioneer within same day from the date of auction, failing which the deposit paid will be forfeited to the Assignee Bank and sale will be deemed cancelled/terminated and the property may be put up for subsequent auction without further notice to the said E-Bidders. The Auctioneer shall send the Memorandum of Sale for stamping and thereafter forward the same together with the deposit paid under clause 3.5 above and the differential sum paid under this clause (If any) to the Assignee Bank.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.
