Maintenance by VIU. Throughout the Term, VIU will inspect, maintain, repair and replace elements of the VIU Student Residence in order to keep the VIU Student Residence in a good condition or repair, complying with health, safety and fire standards required by law. This includes, but is not limited to, inspecting and testing fire safety equipment, major appliances, electrical bathroom fixtures and plumbing.
