Common use of Maintenance of Customer Equipment Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Customer Equipment. Except as specifically set forth in the Service Description, Qwest shall have no obligation with respect to the Customer Equipment and/or any Customer software, except that Qwest shall be obligated to maintain the Customer Equipment in a reasonably safe condition. In cases where Qwest provides maintenance services as set forth in the Service Description, Customer is required to enter into the applicable vendor maintenance agreement. Qwest’s obligation to provide temporary replacement equipment is subject to reasonable availability as contemplated in the Service Description.
