Maintenance of Group Insurance. During the family medical leave, eligible teachers may maintain coverage under the teacher's group health plan, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance at the same level and under the same conditions for which coverage would have been provided if the teacher had continued in active employment continuously for the duration of such leave. Teachers who contribute to such a group health plan must continue to make such contributions during the period of their leave in order to maintain coverage.
