Maintenance of Membership Provision. In order that employees do their part in assisting the Union to meet its obligations as a party to this Agreement, an employee hired before June 15, 2000 who on or after June 15, 2000 personally pays Union dues or authorizes Union dues deduction, may only discontinue such payments or revoke a prior authorization within the 10 day calendar period preceding the expiration date of this Agreement. Such revocation must be in writing and must be delivered to the Union and the Company.
