Common use of MAINTENANCE OF PLANTED BEDS Clause in Contracts

MAINTENANCE OF PLANTED BEDS. Encompasses maintaining newly planted beds as well as established older planted beds. This maintenance includes litter removal, weed removal, fertilizing (three (3) times annually), the spraying of insecticides and fungicides (when needed), pruning and trimming of all desired plant life within these beds. The Contractor shall inspect all planting beds within the designated boundaries during each cycle. The written results of these inspections along with a report of the types of insecticides or fungicides required or used, if any, shall be sent to the County’s Representative within ten (10) days of the completion of each cycle.
