Maintenance; Ongoing Repairs. IDEA shall be responsible for the routine care, cleaning and maintenance of the School Sites. IDEA shall also be responsible for any School Sites repairs, the cost of which would be less than $5,000 per event. For repairs that cost over $5,000, IDEA shall be responsible for repairs to building and site systems that have been caused by IDEA’s negligence or lack of care, the determination of which shall be made solely by AISD. For all other repairs, AISD shall be responsible for said costs. ▇▇▇▇ agrees to notify AISD in writing of any repairs that are the responsibility of AISD, and ▇▇▇▇ agrees to undertake such repairs as soon as possible. If the performance of a repair for which AISD is responsible requires an extended period of time, AISD will advise IDEA of such, and will endeavor to provide an interim repair solution until such time as the final repair can be made. Should there be any delay of more than 60 days in making the repair, IDEA may request AISD’s permission to make the repair, the permission for which shall not be unreasonably withheld. The cost of any repair made by IDEA for which AISD is responsible shall be reimbursed by AISD within 45 days of receipt of IDEA’s request for reimbursement and documentation evidencing that the repair was made.
