Maintenance Work: Telephone Distribution Network. i. Attending of telephone complaints, finding of line faults, their rectification & testing etc. ii. The work includes telephone shifting, connection, disconnection. iii. Updating, maintaining the drawings, records & files etc. iv. Installation/ Replacement of JBs, MS conduit, casing capping and jointing of cables. v. The contractor shall maintain log-book of the maintenance job carried out and defects found. vi. Cleaning of equipments, maintenance of tel. instruments. vii. Periodic checking of junction boxes. viii. Drop wire laying & termination. ix. Twin flat cable laying & termination under casing and capping. x. Armoured 5/20/50 Pair cable laying & Termination in existing cable trenches/ cable trays. xi. Armoured 5/20/50 Pair cable laying & Termination underground. The work also includes excavation and back filling of cable trench after laying of cable.
