Common use of Management and Maintenance of the Project Clause in Contracts

Management and Maintenance of the Project. a. The Owner shall provide for the management of the Project in a manner satisfactory to the Secretary. Any management contract entered into by the Owner involving the Project shall contain a provision that it shall be subject to termination, without penalty and with or without cause, upon written request by the Secretary addressed to the Owner. Upon receipt of such request the Owner shall immediately terminate the contract within a period of not more than thirty days and shall make arrangements satisfactory to the Secretary for continuing proper management of the Project.
