Management of Special and Technical Environment. The ESA staff member demonstrates competency (knowledge and skill) in organizing the elements necessary to deliver specialized services by: 1. Selecting and recommending testing and non-test devices, materials and equipment appropriate to student needs; 2. Demonstrating knowledge of limitations and restrictions of testing and non- test devices, materials and equipment; 3. Using comparative and interpretive data; and 4. Creating an environment which provides privacy and protects students and family information as mandated by federal and state regulations.
