MAORI HEALTH. (a) Pharmacy services have a vital role to play in ensuring that Maori Service Users have access to prescribed Pharmaceuticals and receive appropriate education and information about the prescribed Pharmaceuticals to maximise compliance with the prescribed regime so that their health will improve. (b) Pharmacy services will be delivered in a supportive manner that respects the dignity, rights, needs, abilities, and cultural values of the Maori Service User and their family/whanau. Access barriers for Maori Service Users will be minimised as far as possible.
