Occupational Health. The parties shall convene a meeting including Occupational Health management, union members chosen by the union, a union organizer, and Employee and Labor Relations within sixty (60) days of ratification regarding Occupational Health pay and scheduling practices, including commute time pay for both directions of commuting, pay and time practices for short-notice changes of location, and low census order.
Occupational Health. SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT ( “Type 1”)
Occupational Health. County and International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 16 agree that the maintenance of the employee’s physical health is a basic component of satisfactory work performance, that an ongoing program of medical examination and review of physical condition as it relates directly to performance of assigned duties will be developed, and that the parties shall meet and confer on implementation of this program during the term of this Agreement.
Occupational Health. A. The Employer agrees to periodically post information on bulletin boards noting the inoculation schedules.
B. Where available, and subject to availability of funds, clean and adequate restrooms and showers shall be provided.
Occupational Health. A. In the interest of health and safety, the University has established an Occupational Health Program for Classified Employees. The program encourages and assists employees in maintaining good health; provides medical services and/or referral services as determined by Campus Care or its successor in interest for on-the-job illness or injury; assists the University in proper placement, regarding health and physical welfare of applicants and employees in jobs for which they are suited.
Occupational Health. Section 1 - Purpose The purpose of this article is to aid in the protection of employees from communicable diseases, maintain a healthful working environment, and provide preventive health measures.
Section 2 - General The following occupational health services, among others, shall be provided: Emergency diagnosis and first aid treatment of an injury or illness that becomes necessary during working hours and that are within the competency of the professional staff and facilities of the available occupational health service unit, whether or not such illness was caused by employment. Local policy may define emergency treatment of non-work related conditions in tracking of infectious diseases among the employee population. In cases where necessary emergency treatment is not available onsite, the employee may be taken to his/her physician or suitable community medical facility if the employee requests it or is unable to request it. Employees will be made aware annually that there may be charges for some services rendered; Pre-placement examinations where required by applicable laws, VA policy, or the OPM instructions; In-service occupational examinations of employees or examinations to appraise and report work environment health hazards to prevent and control health risks, as required; Administering, at the discretion of the responsible occupational health service unit physician or occupational healthcare provider, treatments and medications: Furnished by the employee and prescribed in writing by a personal physician as reasonably necessary to maintain the employee at work; or, Prescribed by a physician providing medical care under 5 USC Chapter 81. Preventive services to provide health education to maintain personal health; and to provide specific disease screening examinations and immunizations, in accordance with Article 29 - Safety, Health, and Environment, Section 24, D 2 and D 3 of this Agreement. Referral, upon their request, of employees to community health resources.
Occupational Health. The Society reserves the right to utilise OH services for the purposes of assisting in the rehabilitation and support of Employees who have been off work / sick. The Society reserves the right to utilise OH services to assist with the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of ongoing Health and Safety issues.
