Maternity Leave of Absence Without Pay. Title 2 of California Code of Regulations section 11090(d) provides CFRA 27 leaves do not have to be taken in one continuous period of time. The basic 1 minimum duration of the leave shall be two weeks. However, the District shall 2 grant a request for a CFRA leave of less than two weeks’ duration on any two 3 occasions and may grant requests for additional occasions of leave lasting less than 4 two weeks.
