MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that there shall be a minimum period of three (3) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of the evening performance during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform. However, there may be a two and one-half (2-1/2) hour time span between performances during NUTCRACKER seasons.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that there shall be a minimum period of two and one-half (2-1/2) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of the evening performance during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform. However, the interval of time between matinee and evening performances may be less than two and one-half (2-1/2) hours in tour cities as determined by local custom of starting times of matinees and evening performance in each tour city.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that there shall be a minimum period of two (2) hours in-town intervening and three (3) hours out-of-town intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of the evening performance during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse or perform.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. (a) If an Artist is only in the Matinee Performance and not in the evening performance (or if no evening performance is scheduled), rehearsal for such Artist may commence one and one-half (1-1/2) hours after the conclusion of the Matinee Performance without penalty, and such rehearsal shall not exceed a three (3) hour span. In the event that the Artist is called upon to rehearse during the one and one- half (1-1/2) hour period, he shall be paid at the Penalty Rate for each hour or fraction thereof during which such violation occurs.
(b) If an Artist is both in the Matinee Performance and the evening performance, the Artist may not be scheduled for rehearsal on such day, unless the Employer has obtained the Artist’s consent and compensated the Artist at the hourly Double Overtime Rate for each such hour of rehearsal or fraction thereof; provided, that if such Artist is called for an Emergency Rehearsal on such day, the Artist shall be compensated at the applicable Emergency Rehearsal rate as provided in Section 15(e) of this Agreement.
(c) When the Company is traveling after a Matinee Performance, Artists can be called one half hour after the final curtain, provided that a one hour meal break is given in the vicinity of the theater.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that beginning with the 2019-2020 season, there shall be a minimum period of three (3) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the half hour call for the evening performance during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform. However, there may be a two and one-half (2-1/2) hour time span between the performance and the half-hour call when the total performance time from curtain up to curtain down is two and one-half (2-1/2) to three (3) hours and during NUTCRACKER seasons. In the event a violation occurs, ARTIST shall be paid at the overtime rate.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that there shall be a minimum period of two (2) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the half-hour call of the evening performance during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform (except in the case of emergencies as provided in Paragraph 35(a)(iii). However, there may be a minimum period of one and one-half (1 1/2) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the half-hour call of the evening performance of The Nutcracker and when two (2) performances occur on a Sunday. In the event the minimum period between two (2) performances is less than two (2) hours (before half hour), EMPLOYER shall provide a meal for all ARTISTS who perform in both performances. In the event that ARTIST is required to rehearse, travel and/or perform during this interval, the ARTIST shall be compensated for that time at the Penalty Rate in one-half (1/2) hour increments.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The ATLANTA BALLET agrees that there shall be a minimum period of two and one-half (2 1/2) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of the evening performance, during which period the ARTIST may not be required to rehearse, travel, perform and/or render any service.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. Unless AGMA has been previously notified the Employer agrees that there shall be a minimum period of three (3) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of the evening performance during which period the Artist may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform. However, there may be a two and one-half (2-1/2) hour time span between performances during New York City seasons. Best efforts will be made to give each Artist at least one performance off during each four-performance weekend; or each Artist will be scheduled to perform no more than one (1) dance piece in one performance during such four-performance weekend.
MATINEE PERFORMANCES. The EMPLOYER agrees that there shall be a minimum period of two (2) hours intervening between the conclusion of any matinee performance and the commencement of an evening performance on the same day, during which period the ARTIST may not be required to perform any Artists’ Activity. EMPLOYER and ARTISTS agrees that a minimum period of only one and one-half (1½) hours is required between matinee and evening performances during the NUTCRACKER Season. Any infringement on the two and/or one and one-half hour rest periods shall be paid at the penalty rate in one- half (½) hour increments, with the exception of two (2) Sundays during the Repertory Season. Three (3) additional Sunday waiver requests shall not be unreasonably withheld.
