Meals and Breaks During Demonstrations. 142. The Department shall provide meals or a reasonable meal break time for employees assigned to special events where active duty thereat continues for more than four (4) consecutive hours. If the Department fails to or is unable to provide such meals, the Association may do so and will be reimbursed for the reasonable cost thereof on such occasions by the Department. This provision is subject to the development of procedures by the Department for the reimbursement for the cost of meals provided by the Association.
