Common use of Measurement Equipment Clause in Contracts

Measurement Equipment. Measurement of Shipper's Gas shall take place at the Receipt Points. Shipper will install, or cause to be installed, at or near the Receipt Points, orifice meters or other measuring equipment necessary in Gatherer's judgment to accurately measure the volumes of Shipper's Gas being delivered into the Gathering System to the extent such meters or other measuring equipment have not been installed as of the date of this Agreement. Such measuring equipment shall be comparable to the measuring equipment of other parties delivering gas into the Gathering System. Shipper shall be responsible for, and bear the cost of, acquiring, installing, maintaining and operating such measurement equipment.
