Common use of Measurements and Dimensions Clause in Contracts

Measurements and Dimensions. Without limiting clause 8.14: the Contractor must obtain and check all relevant measurements and dimensions on Site before proceeding with the Contractor's Activities; the layout of plant, equipment, ductwork, pipework and cabling shown in the Works Description (if any) is to be taken as diagrammatic only and all measurements and dimension information concerning the Site required to carry out the Contractor's Activities must be obtained and checked by the Contractor; and to the extent permitted by law, the Contractor will not be entitled to make (nor will the Commonwealth be liable upon) any Claim arising out of or in connection with the Contractor's failure to obtain and check measurements and dimension information concerning the Site as required by clause 8.28.
