Common use of Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Clause in Contracts

Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked. Effective July 1, 2017, the Employer shall contribute the Training Partnership Rate or forty cents ($0.40), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Medicaid-funded hour worked. Medicaid-Funded hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by employees covered by the Agreement in the Employer’s in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off, and training hours. Consumer participation hours shall also be excluded for contribution purposes. The Employer agrees that all funds received by the Employer for purposes of training and certification will be provided to the Partnership.
