WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. A. It is understood and agreed that the regular workweek of all employees, shall consist of forty (40) hour week to be worked in five, eight (8) hour days, exclusive of meal periods. This provision is not to be construed, however, as either a guaranteed minimum or maximum workday or workweek. Shift assignments and the number of employees to be assigned at a given location will be done in accordance with the Agreement and the practice of determining the shift assignments within the building.
B. Time and one-half (1.5) the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate shall be paid for all hours work in excess of forty (40) hours in one week, and for Saturday, but there shall be no pyramiding.
C. The parties understand that PTO shall be considered as time worked. Holidays, leaves for Union business, and vacations shall also be considered as time worked. All other leave or time off, whether paid or not, shall not be considered as time worked.
D. On holidays, overtime shall be in addition to the holiday pay as set forth in Article 22. Employees assigned to check buildings on weekends or holidays shall receive time and one-half (1.5) their straight time hourly rate in addition to the holiday pay.
E. Employees called in after the end of their regular shift shall be guaranteed three (3) hours pay at time and one-half their normal hourly rate for the work performed. Employees called in for unscheduled work on a Sunday or holiday shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay at double their normal hourly rate for the work performed.
F. Except in an emergency situation, when outside overtime is required, it shall be rotated among the employees in each classification in each building or department, provided, however, the employee is able to perform the overtime work. Rotation shall be on the basis of charged overtime. The employer shall not be obligated to offer overtime to employees who are off duty during the week of the scheduled overtime. New employees upon completing probation, or employees assigned to different buildings or department, shall be placed at the bottom of the overtime list and charged with the same amount of overtime hours of the employees with the highest overtime hours. As an exception to the forgoing, overtime in the Maintenance Department will be rotated among the employees assigned to its various work groups. WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. 8.1 The normal working day shall be 8 consecutive hours exclusive of meal period. The normal work week shall be 40 hours.
8.1.1 The Company may, where required, institute 10-hour (exclusive of meal period)/4 day per week driver positions in accordance with Article 5.2.
8.2 Warehousepersons B shall be paid a minimum of 3 hours’ pay at the straight time rate, and if required to perform work beyond 3 hours shall be paid on the minute basis for work in excess of 3 hours. Such work will be offered in order of length of Company service.
8.3 The normal work week shall be Monday to Friday with rest days Sunday and Saturday; however, due to the operational requirements of the Company, a departure to rest days of Sunday and Monday or two consecutive days during the week may, to meet operational necessity, be instituted. Possible use of rest days other than Saturday, Sunday or Monday, where these may be required under this Agreement, to be explored by the parties.
8.4 All hours worked in excess of 8 hours in any one day, or 40 hours in any one week, shall be paid at one and one-half times the hourly rate of pay. This does not apply to positions as outlined in Article 8.1.1.
8.4.1 All hours worked in excess of 10 hours in any one day, or 40 hours in any one week, as specified in Article 8.1.1 shall be paid at one and one-half times the hourly rate of pay.
8.5 Employees, if required to work on regularly assigned rest days, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half time on the actual minute basis with a minimum payment of 4 hours at the pro rata hourly rate.
8.6 Where work is required by the Company to be performed on a day which is not part of any assignment, it may be performed by an available extra or unassigned employee who will otherwise not have 40 hours of work that week. Overtime shall be allocated on the basis of seniority wherever possible, in a voluntary manner, within the work classification and shifts, provided the employee is capable of performing the duties; however, upon reaching the bottom of the seniority list in that classification and shift, the junior employee(s) will be required, in reverse order, to work the overtime.
8.7 Excluding Linehaul operations, employees shall not be required to take more than 60 minutes for a meal period and, if practical, 30-minute meal period will be utilized. WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. A. The work week is Monday to Sunday inclusive. It will consist of five (5 ) work days totaling forty hours and two (2 ) days off. The work day will, where practicable in the Company’s opinion, be scheduled to provide a meal period of a minimum of one-half ( y 2) hour and a maximum of one (1 ) hour, exclusive of working time.
B. Overtime for full time employees is that time worked in excess of the total scheduled hours of work for any one (1 ) day or in excess of forty (40) hours in a work week. Overtime for Part-Time employees is that time worked in excess of forty (40 ) hours in the work week. Such overtime worked will be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (IV 2 ) the basic wage rate. Commissions will be paid at straight time for overtime worked.
C. Station Manager will be permitted the option of taking Sundays off.
D. Scheduled hours for full-time employees will provide at least eight ( 8 ) consecutive hours elapsed time between shifts. A full-time employee will not be required to work more than two (2 ) consecutive closing shifts or a third consecutive shift beyond 8 p.m. This excludes the early morning shift at all night stations. These provisions will not apply where shift changes are required because of the failure or inability of an assigned employee to work his shift or because of an employee’s leaving service without reasonable notice or on single coverage stations.
E. Regular employees will not be required to work an actual closing shift later than 8:00 p.m. prior to his days off.
WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. A. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE
1. Full-Time Pharmacist. Full-time Pharmacists shall receive forty (40) hours work per week. The workweek shall be Monday through Sunday. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a regular day’s work, and forty (40) hours, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour days shall constitute a regular week’s work. All employees hired to work on a full-time basis or who are scheduled and work at least forty (40) hours in ten (10) consecutive weeks shall be guaranteed forty (40) hours work per week, except in a holiday week, in which it shall be thirty-two (32) hours, provided the employee is available and able to work the required work schedule. Part-time jobs shall not be created or scheduled for the purpose of destroying the forty

WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. (1) The number of working hours and overtime shall be regulated in accordance to the Employment Act.
(2) The hourly rate of pay for overtime after midnight shall be double the hourly rate of pay.
WORKING HOURS AND OVERTIME. (1) The working hours of every xxxxxx shall be forty-four hours per week with eight hours daily from Monday to Friday and four hours on Saturday. In the case of day workers, the eight hours shall be worked consecutively between 0600 hours and 1800 hours Monday to Friday inclusive and four hours on Saturday between 0600 hours and 1200 hours.
(2) In any week with a public holiday falling on a working day every xxxxxx shall be deemed to have worked eight hours on that public holiday and such eight hours shall be included in the weekly total of forty-four hours for the purpose of computing payment for overtime work done in respect of the remainder of working days in that week.
(3) Any working hours on Sunday and public holiday and hours exceeding eight hours for normal day (Monday to Friday) and four hours for Saturday shall be considered as overtime.
(4) All seamen shall be paid a minimum guaranteed overtime compensation as per the amount as shown in Appendix I to this Agreement. This minimum guaranteed overtime payment covers compensation for eighty-five hours’ overtime per month. Any overtime work performed beyond the eighty-five hours’ minimum guaranteed overtime per month shall be compensated accordingly to the hourly overtime rates as per Appendix I to this Agreement.
(5) Work performed in excess of forty-four hours in an emergency to save life and protect cargo on own ship or another ship in distress shall not be paid any overtime.
(6) In order to avoid misunderstanding overtime sheet shall be provided, recorded and signed by officers each time overtime work is done.
