Common use of Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Clause in Contracts

Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked. Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Training Partnership Rate or forty- three and one half cents ($0.435), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Medicaid- Funded Hour worked. Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time-off, and training hours. Consumer participation hours shall also be excluded for contribution purposes. Effective July 1, 2020, the Employer shall contribute the Training Partnership Rate or forty- one cents ($0.41), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked in the Employer’s in-home care program. The Employer agrees that all funds received by the Employer for purposes of training and certification will be provided to the Partnership.
