Common use of Medical Transportation Services Clause in Contracts

Medical Transportation Services. Also see section 6.5 for Common Carrier Transportation Services. Medical transportation services include: (A) Ambulance services required for Medical Emergency care, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144E.001, subd. 2. MCOs shall require that providers bill ambulance services according to Medicare Criteria. Nonemergency ambulance services shall not be paid as emergencies, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 256B.0625, subd. 17a. (B) Special transportation services for a person who is physically or mentally incapable of transport by taxicab or bus.
