Common use of Meeting Request Clause in Contracts

Meeting Request. If the written answer is not accepted, the grievant or the grievant's representative may request a meeting to consider the grievance. This meeting shall be scheduled among representatives of the District and the grievant or the grievant's representative within five (5) days of the date of the request for such a meeting.  District Response: Within ten (10) work days following the Step 2 meeting, the District shall submit a written reply to the grievant or the grievant's representative. If the District fails to reply in writing, the grievant or the grievant's representative may request arbitration in accordance with Step 3 of this procedure.
