Common use of Member Initiated Projects Clause in Contracts

Member Initiated Projects. Bargaining Unit members may initiate and design projects that are equivalent in nature to Section6-b, d, e above, and shall be considered on the basis of its current merits and purposes by the Sabbatical Leave Committee. Examples of said member projects shall include but shall not be limited to the following: (1) Peace Corps/VISTA (2) Community service (3) Independent educational research (4) Work in the public sector (5) Education related training in the private sector.
