The Mentoring and Training clause establishes the obligation for one party, typically the employer or service provider, to offer guidance, instruction, or skill development to another party, such as employees, contractors, or trainees. This may involve structured training sessions, on-the-job mentoring, or access to educational resources to ensure individuals are adequately prepared for their roles or responsibilities. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all relevant parties receive the necessary support and knowledge to perform effectively, thereby reducing errors and enhancing overall competency within the organization.
MENTORING AND TRAINING. The Company is committed to the development of its employees. The company understands the significance of support, training and mentoring services for employees and therefor is committed to working to provide support services such as: • Assistance with the recruitment process; • Pre-Employment training programs • Development of Personal Development & Training Plans A Company Representative will visit each employee on site at a on a regular basis and make contact with the employee’s direct supervisor at least every second month to identify any training needs. The Company will coordinate with clients/ projects and Employees to develop pathway plans for the Employees with the intent to offer Employees the opportunity to progress through the various classifications within this Agreement. An Employee can apply for progression to a higher level once every 12 months. The Company will make training available at least annually and requests to attend training will not be unreasonably refused. The Company will use an RTO that is agreed and approved by the Parties. All identified training courses will provide the Employee with transferable skills that can be used within civil, rail or mining industries which will also benefit the community. Any training program would be hands-on, culturally aware and adapted to suit the Employee’s learning abilities and skills. Training costs of courses approved by the Company will be met by the Company and the Employee/s concerned shall not suffer any loss of pay. Development through training will provide a strong foundation for developing employees.

Training costs of courses approved at the discretion of the Employer will be met by the Employer and the Employee/s concerned shall not suffer any loss of pay. Development through training will focus on providing a strong foundation to develop Employees.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Customer Support and Training System Agency will provide support for the CMBHS, including problem tracking and problem resolution. System Agency will provide telephone numbers for Grantees to obtain access to expert assistance for CMBHS-related problem resolution. System Agency will provide initial CMBHS training. Grantee shall provide subsequent ongoing end-user training.
