Orientation and Training. A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.
Orientation and Training. The parties to the collective agreement recognize the value of orientation programs for employees and that the responsibility for providing such programs lies with the Employer. The Employer agrees to provide such orientation in a manner it deems appropriate to employees new to the worksite or new to the unit/xxxx to enable the employee to adjust. Orientation shall include:
A) fire and disaster plan
B) organizational structure
C) relevant policies and procedures
D) physical layout of the worksite and unit E) duties of the position Employees required to attend such programs will be paid at the applicable rate of pay.
Orientation and Training. If the employee is found to be unsatisfactory in the qualifying period, she shall be entitled to one additional access to the provisions of Article 19.01(B). If found to be unsatisfactory a second time, she shall be laid off.
Orientation and Training. The parties recognize the University's right to give any permanent employee appointed or assigned to new duties, consistent with his or her job specifications, orientation and training during working hours as to the duties and responsibilities of his or her new position or assignment.
Orientation and Training. The Union will provide each new employee with a copy of the collective bargaining agreement then in force. The State will provide at least one (1) hour for the xxxxxxx and any newly hired employee to meet during the first week of work. The State will notify the Union within forty-eight (48) hours of all new employees.
Orientation and Training. If the employee is found to be unsatisfactory in the qualifying period, she shall be returned to the recall list. Total time on the recall list shall not exceed one (1) year.
Orientation and Training. In accordance with the right of Sessional Academic Staff to know and to control hazards at work, the Parties commit to orientation and training that includes:
(i) The Parties will develop an Occupational Health and Safety Training module. Upon development of the module, letters of offer shall provide a link.
(ii) The University will provide first aid supplies and equipment at each location, and will ensure that a University employee is trained in a certified first aid course, at the University’s expense.
(iii) Training for members serving on the OH&S committee as outlined below. The Parties commit to identifying and improving health and safety concerns for individuals working during non-peak hours and at remote sites.
Orientation and Training. The parties recognize the Center’s right to give any employee appointed or assigned to new duties, consistent with his of her job specifications, orientation and training during working hours as to the duties and responsibilities of his or her new position or assignment.
Orientation and Training. The Employer will continue to provide initial orientation/training programs. Except for emergencies, employees will complete their initial orientation/training program. Changes and improvements in initial orientation/training programs will be discussed in appropriate professional committees. During initial orientation, a union representative shall be allowed reasonable time to orient new bargaining unit employees to the Union.
Orientation and Training. Section 1. The County shall provide new hire orientation. The County shall provide the Union with the opportunity to speak to all new bargaining unit employees within ten (10) working days of their starting date of hire. The Union shall contact the Department of Human Resources to coordinate scheduling.
Section 2. The County will provide training when it determines such training is necessary to enhance the ability of bargaining unit employees to perform their jobs. Bargaining unit employees may submit written requests with written supporting documentation, to the Employer for additional training that the employee believes is necessary to perform their jobs. The County shall not deprive an employee training opportunities for unreasonable, arbitrary or capricious reasons.
