Method of paying wages. Where an employee and employer agree, the employee may be paid the wages by cheque or by direct transfer into an employee’s bank account or other recognised financial institution account. However, if the employer and a minimum of 75 per cent of the employees agree, all employees may be paid their wages by direct transfer into the employee’s bank (or other recognised financial institution) account.
