Common use of Military Experience Clause in Contracts

Military Experience. For purposes of placement within the salary range, military experience shall be translated into teaching experiences as follows: 1. Eight months of either military experience or military experience combined with teaching experience shall be equivalent to one-year teaching experience, providing such service shall occur within the school year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. 2. Military experience substituted shall not exceed four years. 3. The provisions of this section shall apply to all veterans who took the oath of allegiance, wore the uniform, served in either combat or non-combat units, and were discharged under honorable conditions.
