Missed Pick-Up Procedure Sample Clauses

Missed Pick-Up Procedure. If you cannot pick up your share, we ask that you arrange for someone else to pick it up for you. You are responsible for explaining the pick-up location and procedures to your substitute. Shares that are not retrieved within the pick-up timeframe will not be available for pick-up at a later time, so please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up your share each week. Although we cannot facilitate alternate pick-up times, we can offer farmers’ market credit for up to 2 weeks of produce per member if the member contacts us via email at least 2 days prior to the scheduled pick-up. This farmers’ market credit can be used anytime during the 2021 calendar year and is worth $28 per full share and $14 per half share (per week missed). Members must use the entirety of their 1 week’s credit in a single farmers’ market purchase. Share credit cannot be used at the farm stand. If a member misses a share unexpectedly (without 2 days prior notice to the farmers), that member should send an email letting the farmers know. This missed pick-up will count as 1 of the 2 allowed missed pick-ups per season. Please limit this option as much as possible to help us avoid waste!
