MMO - Senior Analyst / Office Manager. 1 Post  Duration - Full time - Provisionally until end of March 2014  Location - Flexible (home-working / office in Westminster)  As the Senior Analyst you shall provide specialist advice and guidance to assist the SIO in identifying key lines of enquiry which will support an effective investigation.  To supervise the analytical function including detailed research and analysis of criminal intelligence / information. This work will involve the analysis of data, developing links between individuals and groups, determining patterns of criminal activity and preparing reports / presentations.  To support the investigation by organising and co-ordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency  Additional related duties as assigned  Accountable to the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) – Operation Iroko Responsible for:  Collecting information from local, national and international sources  Updating intelligence records and maintaining Operation Iroko database  Analysing data  Building up patterns of illegal activity (problem profiling)  Monitoring the behaviour of suspect individuals or groups (targeted profiling)  Using intelligence data to assist the SIO with planning resources (tactical assessment)  Continually reviewing analytical analysis and recommending changes where necessary  Potentially acting as a witness during court proceedings  Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for various internal and external groups / individuals, collect and / or  Disseminate intelligence data  Establishing (if required) operational procedures to support criminal analysis  Performing frequent quality control checks of the intelligence database to ensure accuracy and integrity  Preparing and presenting oral and written briefings  In collaboration with the SIO assessing the intelligence requirement in order to recommend, prioritise and implement collection plans  Managing budgets, meetings and appointments  Maintaining the `action allocation` database, assigning tasks and following up on work results.
