Agreement Administration SBBC has delegated authority to the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee to take any actions necessary to implement and administer this Agreement.
Export Administration Each party agrees to comply with all export laws and regulations of the United States (“Export Laws”) to assure that no software deliverable, item, service, technical data or any direct product thereof arising out of or related to this Agreement is exported directly or indirectly (as a physical export or a deemed export) in violation of Export Laws.
Project Administration The Contractor shall provide project administration for all Subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and others involved in implementing the Work and shall coordinate administration efforts with those of the A/E and ODR in accordance with these Uniform General and Supplementary Conditions and provisions of Division 1 Specifications, and as outlined in the Pre- construction Conference.
ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION (a) Seller shall perform this Agreement in a manner that ensures adequate protection for workers, the public, and the environment, and shall be accountable for actions of itself and its lower-tier subcontractors, agents and employees. Seller shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards. Seller shall ensure that management of environment, safety and health (ES&H) functions and activities is an integral and visible part of Seller’s work planning and execution process. In the event that Xxxxxx fails to comply with this Agreement, Company may, without prejudice to any other legal or contractual rights, issue an order stopping all or any part of the work; thereafter a start order for resumption of work may be issued at Company’s discretion. Seller shall make no claim for an extension of time or for compensation or damages by reason of or in connection with such work stoppage. In addition, Company may require, in writing, that Seller remove from the work any employee the Company deems unsafe, incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT The City Manager of the City, or designee, shall be the City’s representative, and shall oversee and approve all services to be performed, coordinate all communications, and review and approve all invoices, under this Agreement.
Monitoring and Management Information C10.1 The Contractor shall comply with the monitoring arrangements set out in the Monitoring Schedule including, but not limited to, providing such data and information as the Contractor may be required to produce under the Contract.
SECTION 109 OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. No person in the United States shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds made available under this title. Section 109 further provides that discrimination on the basis of age under the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 or with respect to an otherwise qualified handicapped individual as provided in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, is prohibited.
Xxxxx Disaster Protection In accordance with the requirements of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 (42 U.S.C. 4001), the Subrecipient shall assure that for activities located in an area identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as having special flood hazards, flood insurance under the National Flood Insurance Program is obtained and maintained as a condition of financial assistance for acquisition or construction purposes (including rehabilitation).
Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended. STUDENT DISCIPLINE AND TEACHER PROTECTION A. The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. Whenever it appears to the teacher and a representative of the Board that a particular pupil requires the attention of special counselors, social workers, law enforcement personnel, physicians or other professional persons the Board will take steps to relieve the teacher of responsibilities with respect to such pupil.
