Modification of Proposals Clause Samples

The Modification of Proposals clause establishes the conditions under which a party may alter its submitted proposal before a specified deadline. Typically, this clause allows proposers to make changes, corrections, or withdrawals to their proposals as long as these actions occur prior to the closing date for submissions, often requiring written notice or resubmission of documents. Its core function is to provide flexibility for proposers to refine or correct their offers, ensuring that the final proposals considered are accurate and reflect the proposers' true intentions, thereby reducing the risk of errors or misunderstandings in the procurement process.
