MODIFICATIONS TO CLEANING OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM (ITEM 633. 15010029) The Work of the Item 633.15010029 “Cleaning of Drainage System” shall be scheduled after Work under Item 633.90070029 “Maintenance cleaning and Washing of Bridge” is executed. A NYSDEC discharge permit is required prior to drainage cleaning. All debris and vegetation shall be removed from drains and components during the cleaning operation. No solids are allowed to fall into the waterway. NYCDOT will not allow the Contractor to use a sledgehammer to open grating cover of any catch basin or scupper, special lifting apparatus may be used. 000460 CONTRACT NO. MBPM20 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT Substitute the entire text with the following: The Work will be measured as the number of cycles of cleaning of drainage system where each cycle is defined as cleaning of drainage system and components of all twenty three bridges completed once in accordance with this Specification and provisions of the Contract. BASIS OF PAYMENT: Substitute the entire text for Item 633.15010029 – Cleaning of Drainage System with the following: The price bid per cycle of Cleaning of Drainage System shall include all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work including the collecting, cleaning and proper disposal of debris and collected water. Payments shall be made based on cleaning of the drainage systems of all twenty three bridges in accordance with the Specification. The City reserves the right to withhold up to 50% of the unit bid price, until the cycle is completed as specified above and approved by the Engineer. The cost for this Item shall also include all costs associated for temporary removal and dismantling of any of components of drainage system such as clean-outs, downspouts, etc. which may be necessary to unclog and make the drainage system operational as approved by the Engineer. Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each make any modifications to its facilities that are found to be necessary as a result of such testing. Developer shall bear the cost of all such testing and modifications. Developer shall generate test energy at the Large Generating Facility only if it has arranged for the injection of such test energy in accordance with NYISO procedures.

  • Provisioning Line Splitting and Splitter Space 3.8.1 The Data LEC, Voice CLEC or BellSouth may provide the splitter. When EZ Phone or its authorized agent owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non-designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location; a collocation cross connection connecting the Loop to the collocation space; a second collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port; the high frequency spectrum line activation, and a splitter. The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements.
