MODIFIED MAINTENANCE OF MEMBERSHIP. Employees of the Department referred to in Section 1 hereof who were members of the Union on the date upon which this Memorandum is executed shall remain members during the period covered by this Memorandum, except that such employees may withdraw during the month of June of any year pursuant to paragraph C. of this section.
