Common use of Monitoring Activities Clause in Contracts

Monitoring Activities. The Contractor is required to meet or exceed the monitoring activities, as outlined below. Compliance will be monitored throughout the performance period to assess risk. Concern will be addressed through a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Monitoring activities may include, but are not limited to: A. Review of financial and performance reports; B. Monitoring and documenting the completion of Contract deliverables; C. Documentation of phone calls, meetings (e.g. agendas, sign-in sheets, meeting minutes), e-mails and correspondence; D. Review of reimbursement requests and supporting documentation to ensure allowability and consistency with Contract work plan, budget and federal requirements; E. Observation and documentation of Contract-related activities, such as trainings and events; F. On-site visits or desk audits to review records and inventories, to verify source documentation for reimbursement requests and performance reports, and to verify completion of deliverables.
