Monthly Calls. CMS shall schedule monthly conference calls with the State. The purpose of these calls is to discuss any significant actual or anticipated developments affecting the Demonstration. Areas to be addressed include, but are not limited to, MCO operations (such as contract amendments and rate certifications), health care delivery, enrollment, cost sharing, employer-sponsored insurance progress, family planning issues, quality of care, access, the benefit package, audits, lawsuits, financial reporting and budget neutrality issues, health plan financial performance that is relevant to the Demonstration, progress on evaluations, State legislative developments, and any Demonstration amendments, concept papers, or State plan amendments the State is considering submitting. CMS shall update the State on any amendments or concept papers under review as well as Federal policies and issues that may affect any aspect of the Demonstration. The State and CMS shall jointly develop the agenda for the calls.
