Mutual Commitments. Both parties will:  Be proactive and timely in (a) informing each other regarding relevant matters including significant public announcements, media engagements and publications and (b) communicating requests and responses that are necessary to meet the Minister’s obligations to the Oireachtas or to inform Ministerial responses to representations, media queries etc. This will be underpinned by a ‘no surprises’ approach to matters of mutual interest or concern.  Engage or (as applicable) inform each other in a timely manner regarding relevant strategic and policy issues.
