Common use of National Security Clause in Contracts

National Security. 23:01 SEAC recognizes that the Company may now have, or may incur in the future, obligations with respect to security of information and materials under contract with the Government of Canada and its allies. SEAC agrees that nothing contained in this Agreement shall place the Company in violation of security agreements between the Company and the Government of Canada or its allies. 23:02 For the purpose of implementing such measures and in order to abide by any such directives in the course of its business activities, the Company may transfer certain employees from such work, or refuse access to such work by employees. 23:03 When any such employee is transferred out of such work or denied access to it arising out of such security measures, the employee will retain all rights accruing within this Agreement, except that of use of the Grievance Procedure to nullify compliance with security measures or instructions. 23:04 An employee who is denied access to such work shall be placed under the provision of Article 16.
