Common use of National Shopping Clause in Contracts

National Shopping. Goods estimated to cost less than $50,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000, may be procured on the basis of national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines. Part C: Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions 1. Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations for price quotations, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Bank for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Bank, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1. 2. Prior Review With respect to the first two contracts for goods, the following procedures shall apply: (i) prior to the selection of any supplier under shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank a report on the comparison and evaluation of quotations received; (ii) prior to the execution of any contract procured under direct contracting or shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank a copy of the specifications and the draft contract; and (iii) the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2(f), 2(g) and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply.

National Shopping. Goods estimated to cost less than $50,000 20,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,00020,000 equivalent, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines. Part C: Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions 1. Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to prequalify for price quotationsbidding or to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Bank for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Prior Review With respect to: (i) contracts for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (ii) the first two contracts contract for goodsworks awarded in accordance with the provisions of Part B.1 of this Schedule, the following procedures shall apply: (iA) prior to the selection of any supplier under shopping procedures, procedures the Borrower Recipient shall provide to the Bank a report on the comparison and evaluation of quotations received; (iiB) prior to the execution of any contract procured under direct contracting or shopping procedures, the Borrower Recipient shall provide to the Bank a copy of the specifications and the draft contract; and (iiiC) in addition, the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2(f), ) and 2(g) and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply.

Prior Review Review (a) With respect to the supply and installation contract for the construction of the xxxxxxxx hatchery under Part A.1 of the Project, each contract for goods and works procured under international competitive bidding and the first contract procured under national competitive bidding procedures, the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2 and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply. (b) With respect to the first two contracts for goodscontract procured under the international and national shopping procedures, the following procedures shall apply: (i) prior to the selection execution of any supplier the first contract under the international and national shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank Association a report on the comparison and evaluation of quotations received; (ii) prior to the execution of any contract procured under direct contracting or shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank a copy of the specifications and the draft contract; and (iiiii) the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2(f), 2(g2 (f) and 2 (g) and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply.

National Shopping. Goods estimated to cost less than $50,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000290,000 equivalent for Part C of the Project and $210,000 equivalent for Part D of the Project, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines. 3. Procurement from UN Agencies Vehicles, computers and other office equipment related to Parts C and D of the Project may be procured from the Inter-Agency Procurement Services Office of the United Nations (IAPSO) in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3.9 of the Guidelines and as specified in the Manual of Procedures. Part CD: Review by the Bank Association of Procurement Decisions 1. Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to prequalify for price quotationsbidding or to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for Parts C and D of the Project shall be furnished to the Bank Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Prior Review With respect to each contract for works and goods estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more, and the first two three contracts for goodsgoods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent each for Part C and Part D respectively, the following procedures shall apply: (i) prior to the selection of any supplier under shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank a report on the comparison and evaluation of quotations received; (ii) prior to the execution of any contract procured under direct contracting or shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank a copy of the specifications and the draft contract; and (iii) the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2(f), 2(g) 2 and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply.

(b) With respect to each contract estimated to cost the equivalent of $30,000 or more, the following procedures shall apply: (i) prior to the selection of any supplier under shopping procedures, procedures the Borrower shall provide to the Bank Association a report on the comparison and evaluation of quotations received; (ii) prior to the execution of any contract procured under direct contracting or shopping procedures, the Borrower shall provide to the Bank Association a copy of the specifications and the draft contract; and (iii) the procedures set forth in paragraphs 2(f), 2(g2 (f) and 2 (g) and 3 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines shall apply.
