Natural and Historic/Cultural Resources. Wildfire can create a range of responses of natural, historic and cultural resources to wildfire and can vary from no effect to those that are temporarily altered to damaged and/or destroyed permanently, especially in the case of historic and cultural resources. Natural Resources Natural resources damaged by wildfire can take years to recover and can require significant and unique restoration activities. Additionally, post-fire events such as flooding can create significant damage to watersheds and additional damage to habitat. Subsequent impacts may also include an increase in invasive species and erosion. The environment of the Project Area includes a variety of natural resources and environmentally sensitive areas that exemplify key natural resource values. The Santa Xxxx Plain, situated at the heart of the Laguna de Santa Xxxx watershed, is rich in natural resources including a vast oak savannah grassland with vernal pools and xxxxxx that support endemic plants and animals. Additionally, Laguna de Santa Xxxx is a major tributary to the Russian River watershed that supplies drinking water and water for agricultural purposes.

  • Cultural Resources If a cultural resource is discovered, the Purchaser shall immediately suspend all operations in the vicinity of the cultural resource and notify the Forest Officer. Operations may only resume if authorized by the Forest Officer. Cultural resources identified and protected elsewhere in this contract are exempted from this clause. If the test result is negative, the Employer will reimburse the employee for the cost of the split sample test. An employee who has a positive alcohol test and/or a positive controlled substance test may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal, based on the incident that prompted the testing, including a violation of the drug and alcohol free work place rules.

The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes.
