Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.
Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.
Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.
Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.
Vacation Pay on Termination An employee whose employment is terminated shall receive vacation pay at the appropriate percentage of the wages or salary earned during the period of entitlement in accordance with the employee's years of service.
Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.
Reallocation to a Class with an Equal Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the employee remains in the position and retains existing appointment status.
Contract Duration and Annual Salary 1. The College hereby employs the Administrator in the capacity of Director of Adult Educational Development, Assistant Professor for one year, commencing on July 1, 2023 and terminating on June 30, 2024. The Administrator accepts such employment on the conditions hereinafter set forth, and any applicable provisions of the Board of Trustees Policy Manual. Vacation Payment on Termination An employee whose service is terminated by the Company or by resignation shall be entitled to a cash payment in lieu of an outstanding vacation allowance, calculated proportionately from July 1 marking the beginning of the 12-month period in which the vacation entitlement applies.
