NEW OR REHIRED EMPLOYEE. You are hereby informed that Union membership is a condition of employment and that maintaining good standing in the union requires payment of Union dues, initiation fees and assessments as authorized by the Union. Articles of the Agreement between the United Food & Commercial Workers Union, Local 832, and SSP Canada Food Services, Inc. and SSP Canada Airport Services Inc., contain the following statements: “All employees covered by this Agreement shall become members of the Union and maintain membership in good standing as a condition of employment.” “The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of each employee, such Union dues, initiation fees and assessments as are authorized by regular and proper vote of the membership of the Union. The Employer further agrees to deduct the Union dues automatically from the wages of new or rehired employees’ first pay. Monies deducted during any month shall be forwarded by the Employer to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union within twenty (20) calendar days following the end of the Employer’s four (4) or five
